Worth thinking about...
"Sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts and always be ready to make a defense to every one who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and respect." -The Apostle Peter (1 Peter 3:15)

Why a link on pornography on a Christian apologetics website? What does pornography have to do with Christian apologetics? More than most people think. For one, pornography undermines and weakens a person's walk with the Lord. If our goal in apologetics is to defend the faith and give answers to people so that they can walk with the Lord and know Him in truth, and pornography undermines a person's walk, then you can see why it is important that we address this issue.

HELPFUL DOWNLOADABLE SOFTWARE:

Covenant Eyes (It's what we use on our computers!) After installing on your PC or Mac, your spouse or accountability partner(s) of your choosing can log in online and access an up-to-date list of all the websites that you have visited. The person who struggles with temptation cannot delete the record of sites visited because the list is kept on an offsite server. The user also cannot unistall the software without contacting Covenant Eyes and getting an unistall code (Then Covenant Eyes notifies your accountability partner(s) and lets them know of the change). Covenant Eyes has thought of everything! For a small fee they will even filter out questionable sites and allow you control as to the sensitivity, etc.

This is the best software we know of. We HIGHLY recommend it. If you have a husband or young man living in your home, they need protection against this area of temptation. Do not think, "Well, not my husband or my son! They don't struggle with that stuff." Even mighty men of God can fall (Proverbs 7:26 says, "She [the adulterous woman] has cast down many wounded, and all who were slain by her were strong men.")

NEW! Covenant Eyes WebBrowser App for iPhone and iPod Touch now out! If you have a Covenant Eyes Membership, you can download this app for free in the Apple App Store. It works just like Safari, but it keeps track of your browsing and notifies your accountability partner(s) where you've been surfing. Install this browser and have your spouse lock your Safari browser.

MOBICIP Free Internet Browser App for Apple iPhone (How to install for FREE here). Have your spouse or a friend install this application on your iPhone (so you don't know the password) and then have them deactivate the Safari browser in the controls and you'll be much safer online.
