The Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA) was started by Ellen G. White in the United States of America in the nineteenth century and continues to this day. While holding to many Biblical teachings, there are some disagreements between evangelical Christians and Seventh-day Adventists. For example, Adventists believe in the doctrine of "soul-sleep" and annihilationism for the unsaved rather than eternal concious torment in Hell. For more information see the resources below.

10 QUESTIONS & ANSWERS ON SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISM
(Color Pamphlet, 5.5" x 8.5")

Why do Seventh-day Adventists worship on Saturdays only? Who was their prophet, Ellen G. White, and what did she teach about Jesus (identified as Michael the Archangel), the Trinity (both God the Father and Jesus have tangible bodies), and salvation? What is the SDA Bible paraphrase, The Clear Word, and how does it alter the original Greek and Hebrew meanings to fit Mrs. White's unusual teachings? Why do Adventists consider Sunday worship "the mark of the beast?" What is the "investigative judgment," and how does it deny the biblical belief that Jesus paid fully for our sins at the cross? SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISM and the Writings of Ellen G. White (Book)
by Mark Martin

Seventh-day Adventism is a reflection of its prophetess Ellen G. White. Adventism is dependent on her writings and stands or falls on the truthfulness of her teachings. Ellen White's claims to inspiration are challenged by the fact that she made false predictions, contradicted the Bible and even contradicted herself. This fascinating, carefully researched book applies the biblical truth to Adventist claims about Ellen G. White.

Some of Ellen White's "inspired" claims uncovered in this book are:

– Certain Adventists living in 1856 will be alive to see Jesus return.
– The Atonement was not finished at the cross.
– Satan was offered a pardon in heaven.
– Some races are a mixture of man and beast.

You'll find this book a very effective reference tool when encountering the claims of Seventh-day Adventism. Paperback, 70 pages. Click here to purchase ($5.95)
